Chance to create an artistic masterpiece this summer

By Farnham Herald in Community News

GET creative and paint your own ceramic masterpiece this summer at Mambo Jambos, a new pottery painting studio found opposite Squire’s Garden Centre in Badshot Lea.

Pottery painting studios have ballooned in popularity in recent years, and Squire’s has recently got into the act - providing the location for Mambo Jambos’ second studio.

Open seven days a week, Mambo Jambos offers the chance for all ages to paint a range of ceramics from princesses to jet planes, teapots, mugs, plates and more.

Aprons and washable, non-toxic paint is provided in ample quantity, and once suitably decorated, the finished artworks are sent to be glazed and fired in the studio’s kiln, ready to collect up to 14 days later.

Prices start at £4 rising to £50 for the ceramics, plus a £2.50 studio fee per painter to cover equipment, paints, glaze and firing.

Mambo Jambos staff are on hand to help and give advice, as well as serve teas and barista-style coffees. Children’s parties are available and advance booking is recommended.
