A group of trainee teachers have been congratulated for making the grade at a graduation ceremony in Farnham.
The i2i Teaching Partnership celebrated the graduation of its 2024-25 trainee teacher cohort during a recent special ceremony at Weydon School.
The joyful event at the i2i trainee centre was the culmination of a rigorous and transformative one-year programme with trainees being formally presented with certificates by i21 partnership directors.
It also brought trainees, mentors, school leaders and staff together to recognise the hard work, determination and passion each individual brought to their training journey.
“Our graduates have demonstrated exceptional resilience, dedication, and professionalism,” said Amy Diprose, director of i2i Teaching Partnership.
“They are leaving us not only as qualified teachers but as confident, inspiring individuals ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people across our partner schools.”
The school-based teaching training programme blends academic learning with hands-on classroom experience across a network of schools in Surrey, Hampshire and surrounding counties.
Graduates from the programme with an outstanding Ofsted rating go on to fill vital teaching roles in local schools.
“It's been an amazing journey with highs and lows but I've been so grateful for all the support i2i Teaching Partnership has given me and I'm so happy to have become a teacher,” said newly qualified PE teacher, Amy.
Many trainees have already secured teaching positions within the i2i network, continuing their journey with the support of the very schools and mentors who guided their development.
As the graduating class embarks on their careers in education, they carry with them the values, knowledge, and experience gained through i2i, ready to inspire the next generation of learners.
