LIFELONG Hale resident Ruth Ivy Foster has just celebrated her 90th birthday at Hale Village Hall.

Over 50 relatives and friends attended the celebrations, including Ruth’s three great-grandchildren.

Her son Graham said: “Ruth is always good fun and always loves trips and days out with the family. She loves gardening and still enjoys a well manicured garden.”
