A PAEDOPHILE who admitted making hundreds of the most serious child sex images has been spared an immediate jail term.

Stuart Jonathan Back, 35, of Spies Court, Compton, made the images between December 1, 2018, and January 6, 2019, at an address in Haslemere, a court heard.

These included 143 of the most serious Category A indecent images of a child, 75 Category B images and 47 Category C images.

He was also found guilty of possessing an extreme pornographic image portraying a person performing oral sex with a dog.

Back, who the Herald understands goes by the nickname ‘Trigger’, was sentenced to nine months imprisonment, suspended for two years, at Guildford Crown Court on Friday, April 5.

He was also ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £140, as well as complete a rehabilitation activity for 30 days over the course of the next year.

Finally, Back was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for ten years, and has to register as a sex offender with the police for the same duration.

News of the trial was shared widely on Facebook community pages in Haslemere this week, with a warning “to all parents/carers of children and young people”.

The Facebook user responsible for the posts, who cannot be named for legal reasons, hit out at Back’s “pitiful” sentence, adding “he was allowed to walk free”.

The user continued: “Apparently if he was sent to prison he wouldn’t have been given the ‘treatment’ he’ll receive in the community.

“The judge even said himself what these children have to go through for the images to be produced for the likes of him.”

The user added the images were kept on Back’s phone, adding: “I saw some of these images with my own eyes.

“The sheer terror I’ve seen in the eyes of these tiny children will haunt me forever. I want everyone to know how dangerous he is.

“Please please be vigilant with your children, never let them leave your sight.

“These monsters live among us, undetected and this is the justice we get as a community trying to raise our children in a, supposed to be, safe, protected environment.

“At least the whole world can now know who this is.”
