A MINI Cooper convertible and a “large quantity” of priceless jewellery were stolen from a house in The Bourne on New Year’s Day.

The burglary was reported in the Lower Bourne area near to The Fox pub in Frensham Road at around 4pm on Monday, January 1.

According to a friend of the victim, a number of items of the stolen jewellery “can never be replaced” due to their “huge sentimental value”.

“It is literally a lifetimes worth of memories,” the friend said on Facebook.

She added the car was a Mini Cooper S convertible with a black roof, silver white in colour and registration HX13 OVG.
