A BUS shelter at the junction of Budds Lane and Camp Road in Bordon has been “vandalised” again, costing taxpayers £400 per panel to replace.
There are currently six bus shelters in the town that have been damaged and require replacement, according to Whitehill Town council.
Last year, it cost taxpayers around £5,000 to replace the damage across the town.
Leader of the town council Andy Tree said: "It is incredibly frustrating for the town council to have to use public money on bus shelter repairs that could be spent on residents.
"The hard working staff of the town council have to attend, when they could be doing far more useful work for the community.
"I keep in contact with the police and will be discussing this with them, along with other anti-social behavior issues."
