A CHEMIST in Farnham town centre was targeted by thieves for a second time in five days in the early hours of Friday morning.
Thieves smashed through a front window to gain entry to Laly’s Chemist in Downing Street at around 4am on February 28.
The same window was smashed at around 11.30pm on Sunday, February 23.
Thieves are believed to have made off with a haul of prescription drugs on both occasions.
The police attended both incidents, with the addition of a dog handler to help their search for suspects last Sunday.
A police spokesman said after the first incident: “We received a call shortly after 11.30pm on Sunday, February 23 that two men had broken into Laly’s chemist on Downing Street in Farnham through a front window.
"Enquiries are ongoing, but we believe some medication was taken.
"Anyone who saw anything suspicious should call 101 quoting 45200021626."
