A DRUGS gang have been jailed for a total of more than 19 years, following an investigation by the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit.

A Whitehill man, Ben Kirby, 29, of Sutton Field, was previously found guilty of one count of conspiracy to supply class A drugs, namely cocaine, following a trial at Guildford Crown Court in December last year.

He is set to be sentenced on April 1, but his three accomplices were sentenced on Friday last week after pleading guilty to the same offence.

*Ricky Shanahan, 28, of Sutton Way in London, was sentenced to eight years and one month imprisonment.

*Samuel Hughes, 28, of Omers Rise in Burghfield Common, Berkshire, was sentenced to six years imprisonment.

*Jake Wheeler, 26, of Lodge Road, Yateley in Hampshire, was sentenced to five years and six months imprisonment.

Detectives seized drugs with a street value of more than £300,000, along with large sums of cash and multiple mobile phones.

A fifth man was found not guilty following a trial.
