POLICE are investigating a fresh wave of house break-ins in the Farnham area - with seven homes targeted over the past fortnight.
Thieves raided homes on Tilford Road, Alma Lane, Ball and Wicket Lane and St Georges Road, as well as three daylight raids in one day - last Thursday, October 18 - on Green Lane, Crooksbury Road, and Echo Barn Lane.
Items including jewellery, cash and laptops have been stolen, and according to one victim, many of these “very sentimental items...cannot be replaced”.
A spokesman for the Waverley neighbourhood police team confirmed officers are linking the trio of daylight burglaries and asked homeowners to be on the lookout for any suspicious behaviour.
“Police are currently investigating all the above incidents and will continue to patrol these areas,” he added.
