FOUR masked men were spotted running from a home in affluent Abbots Ride, Farnham, last month after a daylight burglary.
A woman spotted the men leaving the home and making their getaway in a dark-coloured vehicle shortly after 9am on Monday, September 18.
An inspection by the police later showed forced entry was made to the home. It is unknown if anything was stolen.
Five further break-ins have been reported in the Farnham area over the past month:
• Thieves broke into a building site and attempted to force their way into a house being refurbished in Tilford sometime between 5pm on September 13 and 7.30am the next morning, but left without gaining entry.
• Machinery and cleaning products worth £1,000 were stolen from a container in the Farnham Trading Estate sometime between 6.30pm on September 18 and 8am the next day.
• A new lawn mower was stolen from a garden shed in Monks Well, Farnham. at 5.30pm on September 23.
• Thieves entered through the first floor window of a home in Beldham Road, Farnham, between 11am and 1.45pm on September 26, but left empty handed after an untidy search.
• Finally, a padlock on a garden shed was removed in Temples Close, Farnham, at 12pm on September 26 but nothing was stolen. A neighbour in the same road is believed to have been burgled on the same day but no further details are available.
