SURREY Police has renewed its witness appeal and issued images of the damage caused following a ram raid at Andre Noir jewellers in Farnham last week.
Officers were called to Lion and Lamb Yard in Farnham shortly after 11.30pm on Thursday, October 18, following a report of a ram raid at a jewellers.
The two suspects spent around one minute in the premises before making off along West Street towards Crondall with jewellery believed to be worth in excess of £40,000.
It’s believed two motorbikes were used during the raid; one of which has been left at the scene and the other used as a getaway vehicle.
The motorbike left at the scene is described a light blue Honda touring bike with black pannier bags and a luggage rack. The other motorbike was found abandoned in Frensham Pond and has since been determined to be stolen.
Investigating officer, Sergeant Stephen Bullard of West Surrey CID, said: “These photographs depict the stolen items, if you recognise them or believe someone has tried to sell them to you, please get in touch.
"We’ve also released images of the damage to the jewellers to show just how severe the impact of the type of crime really is. Our investigation is ongoing and we are determined to find those responsible."
This incident is not believed to be linked with recent ATM thefts in the area.
We urge anyone who is offered jewellery that did not have packaging or at a suspiciously low price, to contact us.
