A 25 year old man has died from his injuries after being hit by a HGV on the A31 Farnham Road in the early hours of Friday morning.
The collision happened on the Guildford-bound carriageway between the Hogs Back and Down Lane junctions, near the bridge over the A3, at around 3.40am.
A 25 year old pedestrian was taken to hospital by air ambulance but has since died of his injuries, Surrey Police confirmed just after 5pm.
A spokesman said: “Our thoughts at this time are with his family who are being supported by specialist officers.”

The A31 Farnham Road, where the A31 peels away from the Hogs Back towards Guildford, was closed until mid-morning on Friday while officers investigated the collision.
