The driver of a Ford Ranger who died, has been named as Leslie Hughes of West Fork Farm, Hipley, in Hambledon, Hampshire.
The head-on crash involved a 34-year-old woman, from Liphook, driving a Honda CRV, and a 64-year old man in the pick-up travelling south on the B2070 Old Portsmouth Road.
Mr Hughes was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital.
Emergency services, including a Hampshire Fire and Rescue crew from Liphook, were first on the scene, near the Black Fox Inn, at 10.50am, on January 31.
The B2070 was closed for more than six hours while the cause of the crash was being investigated.
Police have repeated their appeal this week, for anyone who saw what happened, or who noticed either vehicle being driven shortly before the crash, to call 101, or contact them online, quoting Operation Thorgate.
