DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a 26-year-old woman was the victim of an alleged serious sexual offence in Farnham town centre earlier this month.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity between a man and a woman near Farnham Park or Castle Street between 6pm and midnight on Monday, May 9, is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference 45160038971.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested and released on bail in relation to the incident.
