POLICE are appealing for witnesses after vandals targeted vehicles in Bordon overnight on January 9.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: “We can confirm we have received four reports of criminal damage on cars parked in Station Road and Loweswater Gardens, Bordon, on the night of Tuesday, January 9.

“Three of the vehicles were parked in Station Road, and the other was parked in Loweswater Gardens.

“In all four cases, the rear windscreen of the vehicle had been damaged.

“In one case, it was reported that a stone had been thrown at a vehicle. In another, marbles were reportedly used.”

Alex James, whose Volkswagen was among those attacked, said: “The glass marbles look like they were fired through the windows from a catapult.”
