POLICE are investigating a spate of burglaries in the Farnham area – with no fewer than seven break-ins reported between August 16 and 20.
On Wednesday, August 16, a construction site in Guildford Road was broken into, fencing was removed and there were signs of forced entry into the building.
Later that same day two daylight burglaries took place, one of which was at a single storey house in Lickfold Road, Rowledge.
The second property in Jumps Road, Churt, was targeted and entered by two men via the rear door.

Italian restaurant chain Prezzo in The Borough also fell victim to theft last Thursday (August 17) around 12pm.
There was damage to the cash register and £1,000 stolen. It is currently unclear how the thieves entered the building but investigations are under way.
Crime was also lurking in Wrecclesham, as one resident took to Facebook expressing her anger after somebody decided to smash her patio doors and ransack her house.
She said: "What gives them the right to feel they can break into other people’s property and take what they fancy?”
