POLICE have appealed for witnesses following five burglaries in East Hampshire last Friday – one of which was at a home in Fairlight Gardens, Four Marks.

This particular incident took place between 10.30am and 4.30pm when a sharp instrument was used to open a ground-floor window of the property. A jewellery box was taken from an upstairs dressing room.

The burglary coincides with others on the same day – three in Liss, at properties in Mill Road, Syers Road and Hill Brow Road, where police are seeking information about a rental tipper van, and another in Longmoor Road, Greatham, where information is sought concerning a silver five-door car.
