SURREY Police has asked for help tracing a man who may hold vital information following a knifepoint robbery at a petrol station in Farnham last December.

Officers have released CCTV images of a man wearing a very distinctive Nike jacket and hope someone will be able to identify him.

The robbery happened at the BP petrol station between Farnham Hospital and the Six Bells roundabout in Hale Road at around 11.20pm.

A blond-haired man wearing a balaclava entered the shop, threatened the shop worker with a bladed weapon and stole around £500 from the till before making off on foot.
