A GYM-GOER’S Rolex watch was stolen from a locker at David Lloyd Leisure, Farnham, on Monday in what is believed to have been a targeted theft.

The customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, said they had locked the locker with the padlock provided, which was then cut with bolt croppers. Only the Rolex was stolen.

The theft has been reported to Surrey Police and to the leisure centre management who are said to be looking through CCTV for any signs of dubious behaviour in relation to this incident.

A police spokesman confirmed the watch was stolen between 1.30pm and 4pm, and urged anyone with information to call 101 quoting 45190126802. The Herald approached David Lloyd Leisure for a comment.
