A SPATE of thefts in and around Haslemere was reported by Waverley Neighbourhood Watch including valuable items from six different private properties between March 9 and 15.

Among the stolen items were a key safe and garden ornament taken in George Denyer Close, Haslemere, on March 9.

There were five break-ins reported the following evening. A bike was stolen from a locked garage in Critchmere Lane, while a bike and a drill were stolen from a locked garage in Liphook Road.

An iPod touch was stolen from a Mitsubishi parked inside a locked garage in Park Road and a garage was broken into and items stolen in College Hill.

Four bikes were stolen from a garage and cars parked inside ransacked in Old Haslemere Road on the same night.

Elsewhere on March 10, a parked car at a residential property in Ridgley Road, Chiddingfold, was broken into and golf quipment was stolen.

In Brook Road, Wormley, a garage was broken into overnight on March 14 and tools were stolen. In Gasden Copse, Witley, oil was stolen from a garden tank.

•On the A3, a motorist driving under Thursley Bridge had her car damaged by an object thrown at her vehicle just after 10.15am, on March 9.
