WAVERLEY Neighbourhood Watch reported a spate of thefts in and around Haslemere on February 2 and 3, with a red Citroen stolen from a driveway in Eight Acres Road, Hindhead, overnight on February 2.

The following night in Howberry Chase: a garage was broken into but nothing was taken. In Beech Road items were taken from a Land Rover parked in a driveway and a garage was broken into but again nothing was taken.

There wa an attempted theft of a motorbike in Fieldway, while in Derby Road, two incidents at separate addresses saw money taken from a parked car, while another was searched and an attempted break-in of garage and private house. In Grayswood Road, an iPod was stolen from an unsecured car parked on a driveway.

A shed and stables were broken into and a chainsaw, hedge trimmer, compressor and other tools stolen in Haslemere Road, Witley, between 1am and 10am, on February 4.
