DETECTIVES have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after two teenagers were robbed in a taxi between Farnham and Guildford.
The two young men were enjoying a night out in Farnham in the early hours of Saturday, October 22, when they met an older man who was unknown to them and all agreed to share a taxi to Guildford.
During the journey an argument ensued and the older man allegedly started punching the two teens and stole a mobile phone.
Investigating officer Detective Constable David Bloomfield said: “This was a nasty incident which resulted in two men being attacked and it’s something we won’t tolerate.
“We need to speak to the man in the CCTV image to establish the full circumstances of what happened so we are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
“We believe he is a married man with a family who smokes and lives in the Farnham area.”
