TWO teenage boys were arrested last Sunday evening at Gostrey Meadow in Farnham after concerns that one of them was carrying a knife.

A Surrey Police spokesman confirmed one of the teenagers was arrested “on suspicion of possession of a knife”.

“He was then further arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following an incident on July 2 at Gostrey Meadow where a man in his 50s was assaulted by a group of young men and left with broken ribs, a broken nose and a damaged lung,” they added.

The second teen was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm relating to the same incident.
