A REWARD has been offered after burglars targeted LMC Citroen on the A325 at Kingsley.

Either late on Monday or the early hours of Tuesday, last week thieves forced their way into the premises and stole the entire flatbed of the firm’s recovery truck.

LMC service manager Mark Jordan said a reward of £1,000 has been put up for information that leads to an arrest or the equipment’s return.

The raiders broke padlocks and smashed a window to release the flatbed, before towing it away.

“They knew what they were doing,” said Mr Jordan, who valued the flatbed at between £5,000 and £8,000.
