STUDENTS from Stagecoach Farnham demonstrated their singing skills when they took to the stage at Birmingham Symphony Hall.

Pupils from Stagecoach Performing Arts Farnham were joined by 530 pupils from Stagecoach schools across the country to perform at the show entitled ‘Celebrating Young Voices’.

They performed two songs on the main stage, plus four mass choral pieces and were joined on stage by 150 pupils from the Birmingham Schools’ Concert Orchestra.

Stagecoach performing arts Farnham principal Emma Beet said: “We are so proud of our students and their vocal ability was incredibly impressive. To hear their voices throughout the Birmingham Symphony Hall was mesmerising.

“It was a spectacular event and we feel very lucky to have been asked to appear. There are many benefits to singing in a group and performing in front of a large audience.

“Not only does it improve confidence, it is a good morale boost and to see the audience so captivated by their voices was wonderful.”

Stagecoach Performing Arts Farnham is part of a network of more than 600 part-time theatre arts schools worldwide. Early stages classes are available for children aged four to six and main stages classes take place for six to 18 year olds.
