A LITTLE Shop of Horrors production by Showshack’s Elite Theatre students was declared “an amazing showcase of talent” by more than 140 friends and family who turned up to watch the comedy horror rock musical.

Telling the story of a down-trodden florist and a man-eating plant bent on world domination, Showshack students enthralled the audience throughout this funny and unexpectedly poignant tale.

Directed and choreographed by tutors Vicky Buxton and Gini Harrington, Showshack’s Elite Theatre Group demonstrated the professional level of performing that the class was set up to achieve.

Offering support and practice for older students who may want to further pursue performing arts, this show was a “brilliant” demonstration of the talent and commitment of this Elite group of students.

For many of Showshack’s younger students, it was also a opportunity to see how they can develop to a professional level under the guidance and nurturing of a team of professional teachers, giving them something to aspire to.
