PEOPLE came from far and wide to St Mary’s Church in Frensham on Saturday, November 4, for the return of its popular Jigsaw Festival.

The crowds were delighted by the array of puzzles and games on offer, many people ‘trying before buying’ and securing themselves a bargain to help while away the long autumn evenings.

This was the third Jigsaw festival held by the church and organisers were thrilled to have so much support for what is becoming a real go-to event.

“We are so blessed to have had so much help from our wonderful congregation not just on the day but from an army of people who volunteered to make up the puzzles in advance,” said Eunice King, churchwarden.

“And to make the day even more special our bell-ringers opened our 15th century tower and invited people to ‘’have a go’ at ringing our bells.

“We even think that a few people will be coming back as novices to join our wonderful team of experts!”
