HALLOWE’EN mania saw a record turnout for the start of the popular annual pumpkin festival at Secretts Pick Your Own, in Milford.

This year’s action-packed family event, featuring Pumpkin Pickin’ trailer rides for children to pick their favourites from this year’s crop of 30,000, continues until Sunday..

Also on offer are mini-tractor rides, ‘delightful disguises’ face-painting, a Hallowe’en-themed photo booth, a straw bales play area, a ‘shoot the beetroot’ game and a pumpkin-painting competition. Garden centre spokesman Shirlee Posner said.
