THE August Bank Holiday is promising to be full of flavour for residents of Odiham following the announcement of the latest festival to hit the High Street.

FlavourFest is a brand new food and drink festival coming to Odiham on August 29, from 11am - 5pm.

On offer will be a range of artisan foods and drinks from the area’s finest producers.

Organisers have billed it as a way to celebrate summer and how those in attendance “can taste their way across the county as you experience Hampshire’s varied and vibrant cuisine”.

They also say that visitors to the High Street can “meet local artisan producers in the marketplace, visit the Hampshire Flavours Marquee where they’ll be serving up gourmet tastings and talks from leading experts, as well as  unique menus in the village’s restaurants”

Festival goers can also book a spot at wine and quench summer’s day thirsts in an exclusive Odiham Uncorked! wine and spirits masterclass.

The High Street will be closed from 7:30am-8pm on the day, with free parking available at the Recreation Ground and Robert Mays’ School.
