LANE closures are set to bring disruption on a three-mile stretch of the A31 including the Farnham bypass next week, with Surrey County Council set to undertake barrier repairs and routine verge maintenance.
Cyclical works including litter picking, grass cutting, road sweeping and gully cleaning will commence on Monday, November 6, between the Hampshire county boundary and the Shepherd and Flock Roundabout, with creeping lane closures to remain in place until Thursday, November 9.
This will coincide with the pre-tensioning and repair of the safety barrier between the Shepherd and Flock and the A31 junction with Weydon Lane.
A westbound lane of the A31 Hogs Back is also set to be closed from November 8 to 9 at the junction with the A3 and Farnham Road for roadworks by BT Openreach.
And a set of temporary traffic lights are also expected to cause disruption in Wrecclesham Hill next week.
Gas Transportation Co Ltd are set to dig up the A325 opposite the former Garden Style Nursery where developer Bewley Homes proposes building 72 new homes.
The works will require traffic lights from Monday, November 6, to Friday, November 10.
It comes on the back of gas network provider SGN digging up a 120m stretch of Wrecclesham Hill south of the junction with Echo Barn Lane late last month.
