PLANS have been unveiled to ease congestion at key junctions on the A331 Blackwater Valley road, including its intersections with the A31 Hogs Back and A323.
Surrey County Council and Guildford Borough Council have launched the multi-million pound project to make it quicker and easier to get around Guildford borough, and boost economic growth.
It also comes just months after the A331 was highlighted as one of Surrey’s worst roads for air pollution.
The local authorities aim to jointly bid for local enterprise partnership funding, and have launched a public consultation for people to have their say on the plans online at surreycc.gov.uk/guildfordtransportschemes.
One of three exhibitions will also take place at Tongham Community Centre (Lounge Bar), Poyle Road, tomorrow (Thursday), from 9am to 1pm.
The consultation closes on March 4.
