A CAMELSDALE man who miraculously escaped death in a road accident on the A286 has called for better footpaths on the road toward Midhurst.
Martin Goddard said the footpath, which stretched along the A286 from the King Edward VII Hospital to Easebourne, was in a state of disrepair and warned lives could be lost.
