SUGGESTIONS that the Haslemere Thespians may have been "procrastinating" over the rebuilding of the Weaving House have been refuted by the group's chairman this week.

Responding to an article in last week's Herald, in which town mayor Brian Howard said Waverley Borough Council had often had to wait "undue time" for responses from the Thespians, chairman Michael Clarke said "placing the blame for the delay in achieving a rebuild exclusively" on the group was "unfair".
