THREE years after Waverley Council approved an action plan to tackle toxic vehicle emissions, air pollution in Farnham town centre continues to exceed accepted guidelines.
The borough council has said there is little more it can do to remedy the situation and that the responsibility is Surrey County Council's, although it is currently hoping Defra will provide funds to investigate possible remedies.
