TAG Farnborough Airport has won its appeal against Rushmoor Borough Council's refusal to allow a massive increase in the number of business aviation movements permitted to and from the airfield.
Transport Minister Philip Hammond and local government minister Eric Pickles have given the green light for an increase from 28,000 movements to a maximum of 50,000 per annum, including a rise in movements at weekends and Bank Holidays from 5,000 to 8,900.
