DRIVERS are being advised to plan ahead and allow extra time if they are travelling to and around Farnborough in Hampshire this weekend during the public days of the Farnborough International Airshow 2016.

More than 100,000 people are expected to head for the public show over the weekend with a further 100,000 trade visitors expected throughout the preceding week.

Visitors are being advised to travel to the show by public transport but it is likely that there will an increased number of vehicles on local roads and the M3 around junctions 4 and 4a.
