Farnham gave one of the worst batting performances in their recent history as Weybridge shot them out for 48 at the Park on Saturday.
It was a comprehensive defeat, or rather massacre, at the hands of the 1999 league champions.
Much rested on the toss of the coin and Weybridge skipper Andy Muggleton had no hesitation in electing to field.
Dave Ferris and Muggleton bowled aggressively and exploited the helpful conditions to full effect. After four overs, Farnham were 6 for 2, with both openers back in the pavilion.
Whitworth and Harpreet followed soon after to rash shots in the circumstances.
With the exception of Bob Brown, the middle order failed to put up any resistance to the Weybridge attack. The tail accounted for almost half of the Farnham total, Dan Kirkland top-scoring with a gutsy 13.
Ferris and Muggleton picked up 6 for 20 and 3 for 16 respectively, while former Farnham wicketkeeper Mark Lane held three catches. The innings lasted just 28 overs.
Weybridge secured 13 points in the 12th over (2-45 pm) after some hard hitting by overseas player Dempsey.
Farnham are away to Banstead this Saturday
