IT will be bin bags at the ready this weekend in Hartley Wintney as the parish council’s annual autumn litter pick takes place.

Kicking off at 10am residents are being invited to get involved with cleaning up the village.

Meeting outside the Victoria Hall on Saturday, the council will be providing litter pickers to all those who volunteer, while they are asking for those who wish to get involved to bring their own gloves and wet weather gear if required.

The litter pick will be rounded off with free refreshments at the end of the day.
