Alton-based choir Luminosa will perform Mozart’s Mass in C Minor at All Saints Church in Odiham on March 23 at 7pm.

Composer Philip Wilby has added the final sections of the work, the Credo and the Agnus Dei, which remained unfinished by Mozart.

Conducted by choral director Rebekah Abbott, the choir will be accompanied by organist Michael Higgins – and there will be a close up video feed of Michael playing.

A fellow of the Royal College of Music, Michael has performed throughout the UK at venues including the Royal Festival Hall in London, Symphony Hall in Birmingham and Usher Hall in Edinburgh.

Rachel Newberry, Rebecca Chandler, Jonathan Upfold and Alexander Chapman, all soloists from London’s Trinity Laban Conservatoire, will also be performing.

The work was written in five parts originally and was finished in 1783 as a wedding tribute to Mozart’s wife Constanze, who sang the soprano solo on its premiere.

There will be a collection for Asthma and Lung UK. For tickets, priced £15 (under-12s £5), visit
