Alton mum acts to halt chat-room menace

AN Alton woman has started a petition to raise awareness of the problems of child pornography and unsafe chat rooms on the internet.

Following a national campaign by Carol Vorderman, who is naming and shaming unsafe internet sites, Alton resident Karen Woodcraft saw the need for more action locally.
