The Alton swimmers continued their excellent form and set 15 personal best times and nine new club records.
Alton dominated the first 15 races. John McHarg won the U/16 boys' 100m breaststroke, Peter Massey took the U/12 50m freestyle and Sam Newland set a blistering pace to win the U/14 50m butterfly. All three recorded club record times, with Massey overturning a record that had stood for 21 years.
Kristie Garrett and Stuart McHarg were respective winners of the ladies' and men's 100m breaststroke and Rebecca Ford won the U/16 girls' individual medley.
Sam Newland then won the individual medley (setting a club record and winning the men's IM Trophy) before setting another club record in the 100m freestyle. Peter Massey also won the 50m butterfly and 50m backstroke.
Charlotte Fletcher continued her strong form with solid wins in the U/14 girls' 50m backstroke (club record) and 50m freestyle. Also for the U/14 girls, Nicola Richards set a club record in the 50m breaststroke.
Sam Newland's great evening was complete with wins in the 50m breaststroke and freestyle (both club records). Anne Fletcher and Joe Smith were both first in the U/12 50m breaststroke events.
The ladies' and men's medley relay squads won their events, but in the last 10 races Bracknell began to close Alton's lead. With the eight-strong squadron squad drawn from across the age range in race 53, it was all to play for.
Caitlin Leverett swam the first leg, representing the U/12 girls, and all the Alton swimmers acquitted themselves well, snatching victory from their rivals as the noise of the sports centre crowd rose to a crescendo. A memorable night and an excellent win for the home club.
The Alton 'B' team, swimming at Farnham, also had an eventful night, with 13 personal bests being established.
The night began with a good win for Kimberley Michalski in the girls' open 50m butterfly. Then Nik Fletcher set a personal best in the boys' open 50m butterfly and freestyle. Ben Flannaghan won the boys' U/16 50m breaststroke and set a PB in the 50m freestyle.
There were also personal best times for Sophie Keough (50m breaststroke), Rebecca Ryan (25m freestyle), Andrew Robbins (25m freestyle), Laura Minns (50m freestyle), Chris Loughran (50m butterfly), Thomas Paynter (25m backstroke), Alex Hayward (50m freestyle), Charlotte Stroud (25m breaststroke), James Gisborne (25m breaststroke) and Sophie Douglas (25m butterfly).
Despite their best efforts, the combined Alton and Petersfield team could not hold back the much stronger home team and the night's winners were Farnham.
