On the day that their work was adjudicated by the official examiners, Amery Hill School's 68 GCSE art candidates invited their parents and friends in to view it as well.
"It's the third year that we've done this and it gets more and more successful each time," the school's head of art Mike Walsh told The Herald.
Inspiration for the students' "two years of hard work" was drawn from a wide variety of sources, including trips to the V&A Museum and Kew Gardens. The theme of the exam syllabus was based on the words "adorn, decorate, embellish".
