FOLLOWING on from their success at the Farnham Music Festival, the Amery Hill School Choir performed at Wembley Arena as part of the mass choir event ‘Voice in a Million’.
More than 80 schools auditioned for a place on the main stage of the March spectacular so it was fantastic that the Amery Hill Choir’s talent and hard work was recognised as they shared the main stage with just three other school choirs.
Performing alongside guest performers Bars and Melody, and Callum Scott, of Britain’s Got Talent fame, the choir “thoroughly enjoyed the event”.
Talking about the experience, assistant headteacher Alison Lee said: “The choir have conscientiously attended rehearsals for many weeks to prepare for this event.
“They had a fantastic day and their evening performance was truly memorable.”
“Well done to everyone involved,” she added.
