THE owners of a number of neglected and derelict properties in Haslemere have come under fire following the collapse of the archway between Lower Street and the main High Street car park last week.

Renewed efforts are now being made to persuade The Gibbs Trust, a local family trust, which also owns the former shoe shop, the former fish shop and the building formerly occupied by Moore and Clark, to renovate and find new tenants for the key town centre sites.
