HASLEMERE'S rail users' group says major delays on the line on Monday and Tuesday caused travel chaos for thousands of commuters.
Problems on the Portsmouth to Waterloo line began with ice forming on the rails early on Monday, causing "slippery tracks".
Rail staff were unable to get to work, as a result and the booking office at Haslemere was unable to open on Monday morning.
Commuters, who have been forced to pay another five per cent increase in season ticket prices in 2013, were then affected by further problems caused by a train breaking down at Wimbledon, on Monday.
And on Tuesday morning there were further delays caused by a points failure at Portsmouth.
