LOWER Bourne residents expressed outrage and frustration at a public meeting last week after being told that they had just 10 days to come up with £12,000 to save their village hall.

More than 80 people attended the meeting last Monday at the hall of St Martin's by the Green Church, to be told that that the church couldn't afford to run it any more.
