FARNHAM'S countryside has again been blighted by fly-tippers this week after a pile of blocked paving slabs were dumped outside a field in Wrecclesham. Naomi Harrington, whose parents-in-law own the field in River Lane, has appealed for anyone who recognises the rubbish to contact Waverley Borough Council or the police. The paving slabs were dumped in the only entrance to the field over the bank holiday weekend and have blocked access to the family's chicken coop. To make matters worse, Waverley Borough Council has refused to remove the rubbish on the grounds that it was dumped on private land - a claim disputed by the Harringtons.
