A GROUP of dog lovers will be hosting a charity jumble sale in the garden of The Cricketers in Kingsley on Saturday, September 3.

The event starts at 2pm and is being held to raise funds for dog rescue charity Giveadogahome, which last year rescued 111 dogs – mainly Greece, Romania and Cyprus – that lived on the streets and faced an uncertain future.

On arriving in the UK the dogs go to volunteer foster homes and are then put for adoption at www.giveadogahome.org.uk/
