AFTER an action-packed year, Holybourne Village Pre-School bid farewell to its class of 2018 with a fantastic end-of-year party.
There was lots of fun, games and dancing and also a surprise visit from ZooLab, an animal handling experience company, who brought along a gecko, giant land snail, snake, cockroach, tarantula and a giant millipede for the brave youngsters to hold.
The children left with fond memories, some great friends and a goody bag full of thoughtful gifts including 101 things to do inside and outside, which should hopefully last the summer holidays.
The older children also received a USB stick containing a copy of their online learning journal capturing their time at the pre-school.
They also received a photograph with their key worker and special friends, plus a poster of what they all want to be when they grow up.
A pre-school spokesman said: “We are expecting big things; doctors, astronauts and even some pirates, mermaids and unicorns!”
Holybourne Village Pre-School operates from Holybourne village hall and welcomes children from two-and-a-half years to school age.
It is open 9am-3pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 9am to noon on Thursday and Friday.
