THIRTY cadets from 229 (Farnham) Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets, joined more than 300 others at Guildford Cathedral to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Air Training Corps.

There were celebrations all over the country including a service at St Clement Danes Church in London, the Central Church of the Royal Air Force, attended by the Duchess of Cambridge, Honorary Commandant of the air cadets, Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty and Honorary Group Captain Carol Vorderman.

Some of the Farnham cadets had spent Saturday in training for the Nijmegen Marches in Holland later this year, and had marched 40 kilometres before attending the parade in Guildford. These cadets are helping Surrey to raise more than £20,000 for the charity Walking with the Wounded.
